Trusting a tint shop with your vehicle can be difficult and how do you decide what tint company to go with? Well look no further! You’ve come to the right place. When bringing your vehicle into Xcel Tint, we walk you through the options and step by step procedure to tinting your vehicle to put your mind at ease. When choosing where to bring your car, here are some questions you might want to ask before trusting any company even if they look nice online:
1. How long will the tinting process take for my car?
Depending on the size of the vehicle and how many windows are getting tinted, it can take roughly 1 hour to 1 hour and a half. However, if your vehicle is in need of a window tint removal. This may extend the time. For removal and replacement jobs, the time limit could be anywhere from 1 hour to 4 hours depending on the condition of the old film and its removal process. But rest assured your vehicle will come out great and we would never want to rush your vehicle to get done. Customer Satisfaction is Xcel Tint’s top priority!
2. What is the life expectancy of the window film?
At Xcel Tint we only use good quality films. Films that will last the lifetime of your car like Carbon or Nano Ceramic films. When deciding what tint company to go with, ask what the warranty is with the film? If they say, there is no warranty then chances are it’s not a good film and it will bubble in a short amount of time. With Xcel Tint you don’t have to worry about bubbling, peeling or discoloration because we have you covered with our Lifetime Warranty!
3. What is the darkest tint limit legally allowed?
Different States have different tint laws. For instance, in the state of Florida the legal limit is 30% on the front two door windows and 15% on the back door windows and back windshield. But if you’re coming from a different state and don’t know the tint laws for your state, don’t worry we find the tint laws for you!
4. What Types of Films do you offer?
There are many different films to choose from but how do you know which film choice is best for you and your vehicle? First choice would be a dyed film. This would be a cheaper film and likely to turn purple or blurry in a year or two. We Do Not recommend this choice even if the price sounds good. At Xcel Tint, we don’t use this film. We offer Carbon Film(blocks up to 46% IR heat), Mid Grade Ceramic(CIR Series blocks up to 72% IR heat), or our Top of the Line Nano-Ceramic(Evolve Series blocks up to 94% IR heat). When choosing your film we have a heat display ready to show you the difference in the films, not just throw random percentages and numbers at you. All three selections come with factory lifetime warranty no matter what shade you choose!
5. What are the different shades that you offer?
Depending on the type of film you choose, window tint comes in many different shades. For instance, we offer 5%,15%, and 30% in our Standard Carbon Film. Our Mid Grade Ceramic and our Nano Ceramic come in 5%,15%,30%,50%, and 80%. Reason being is because the ceramic films have lighter tints for the front windshield. When coming in for your appointment our crew will go over all film choices and different shades and help you decide which one is right for you!
